We started the day with a well earned sleep in until 9.30. We then ventured off on our tour of Chicago. We thought it would be a great idea to use the hop on hop off bus tour to get to know the town a bit....well we definitely chose the wrong bus company as we had the dodgiest bus driver who had to have a smoke at nearly every stop and our tour guide was either invisible or if it was the girl at the back of the bus.....well she just couldn't be bothered. Today was a mighty long day but we finally arrived in Chicago ...after one cancelled flight, two missed standbys and a slightly disgruntled partridge in a pair tree. We did miss our hook up and intro with the tour guide...alas...so now we are madly trying to get in contact with him to work out what is happening tomorrow and share our luggage growth with him !!! Route 66 here we come. Let's just amend part of this blog by stating that our tour doesn't really star...
