I miss breafast after our late night out. I meet Emma at the beach and we have some chicken noodle soup at the restaurant just to get out of the heat. After a quick dip I doze off listening to music. I awaken to a full beach of Vietnamese. I watch a bride throwing a bouquet to her friends. Emma spots a family getting a photo taken and jumps up to and to take a photo too. The family are delighted and we sit and chat with a few of them(LT). We drink a beer to mark our last day at the beach. Both a little heavy hearted we say our goodbyes to the family and the staff at the restaurant. We head back to the hotel and a papaya juice is waiting for the me. The staff here are wonderful and have made me feel very welcome.
Go shopping andEmma gets tops and a replacement rucksack. We head back to the awesome wee restaurant with the best pork noodle soup. Vi cafe and Cuc (pronounced Cook) the chef a lovely lady and host. We are both feeling the heat and she redirects the fans towards us. We head to the Plum bar for cocktails, Apple sheesha and the tasty nuts they keep giving to us. The owner is a blagger but looks after us. Tim had messaged on Facebook to say that he was in town. With a bit of navigation we get him to the bar. His arm is bandaged after an accident on some excursion but as usual he's smiling and great to see him. We head to Brown Eyes and I ask a Kiwi guy I'm talking to to take a photo of us. This will be the last photo tonight as he drops the camera. I should have known better and the lens is stuck at full extension. He gives be 200000 dong, lets hope I can get it repaired in Saigon. Tim heads on to the Why Not bar as Brown Eyes is fairly empty and he's like a dog on heat. It was nice to catch up and Emma and I organise a moped home.
