OVERLAND THROUGH AFRICA
At the border we waited in line on the Albanian side whilst various people pushed in but on the Greek side one of the guards noticed our British passports and we were called to the front and whisked on our way.
We drove through the countryside glad to be on decent roads again. We bypassed Thessalonika after being stopped by the police for a security check and carried on to a small town on the coast. The campsite was virtually empty and the facilities very tired and dirty.
