Today we pretty much spent the entire day on the train. We got up at 5:30 and didn't get into Florence until around 9pm. We had to take a few different trains so we spent a lit of time sitting around, readin our books and playing cards. I was really glad to have my sheet bag with me because it made for a nice blanket on the train, as traveling all day can be rather exhausting!

When we got to Florence I could tell I would love it. Italy has always been one of my favourite countries, it’s really beautiful. Especially around duck when we arrived. Our hostel was deff the most sketchy one we have stayed at thus far, there were 10+ bunkbeds in the room, the lights flickered and boy was it hot! After checking in we went out for gelato and called it a night.

Fun Fact: This has nothing to do with italy (as I didn’t learn a thing sitting on a train all day) but the bridge that is over the liffy (the River that runs through Dublin) was designed by the same men that built the Titanic! ..They probably should have just stuck with bridges ;)
