Scottish Sister's on Tour!
At last some cool air! We went up to the Cameron Highlands, which is a nice respite from the heat of KL. The Cameron Highlands is famous for its tea plantation so first stop was tea and scones! The next day went to the tea plantation, butterfly park and then in the afternoon did a four hour trek through the jungle to see the Rafflesia, the biggest flower in the world! After the horrific start of walking up the hill in the blistering heat of the midday sun it was a relief to get into the jungle. Worryingly our guide told us that he had seen tigers and carried a machete!!! In order to cool down on the way back out the jungle we paddled in a waterfall. It was a nice relief for our tired feet.
