Arrived in Tokyo on Friday and met up with our cousin Stuart. Went to traditional tea ceremony in a garden in the centre of Tokyo. Stuart's girlfriend Otone took us to a summer festival which was being held in town. There was lots of stalls and there were stages with singing and dancing. Hi all, Arrived safely in Japan and travelled down to the lovely city of Kyoto. We have been here for two days and are now heading up to Tokyo to meet up with our cousin Stuart. We went down to Hiroshima yesteray. We visited lots of shrines and temples in Kyoto that were really beautiful. It is sooooooo hot!!!!! We are being real lightweights and going to bed early cos we are soooo tired!! Love Maureen + Pauline xx
