Tonight is our last night on this beautiful island of Koh Lanta. Yesterday, we took a motor bike taxi to Bamboo Beach, which was exquisite. Hardly anyone there and it was about as perfect as it gets.
A last minute booking took us off kayaking this morning in to the mangrove forest and then into THE PERFECT kayaking territory, including caves and lagoons. After lunch
on a Robinson Crusoe type island, we pulled up in our long tailed boat to feed the monkeys. Before we knew it, the whole troop had descended on our boat and we were hand feeding them. They are devious and sneaky little sods, that you had to watch all your possessions. It was great fun though . After that, we went elephant trekking through the jungle, which was also good fun. All in all, probably the best day of the trip so far.
