We spent the last 3 days in Karon Beach, where we got upgraded to a top floor sea view room. A lot quieter than Patong Beach with the beach directly across the road.
Visited the Big Buddha and the Orchid farm yesterday.
Early start today as we had a 7am pick up to take us to the ferry terminal. Arrived in Phi Phi Don where we transferred to the ferry to Ko Lanta. En route, Paul saw a giant turtle floating on the surface, without a care in the world. Checked into a boutique resort called Chaw Ka Cher Tropicana. We booked a bungalow and feels as if we are in the jungle. Fantastic open air bathroom and shower where you can get clean and get a sun tan at the same time.
Intend going game fishing and lots of snorkelling here as the sea is clear, clean and a beautiful turquoise colour.
