Hello again.
We've now been in Ao Nang for a week. The stay at the Poonsiri Resort was absolutely fantastic and the view of the mountains behind the pool was stunning to say the least. The staff were brilliant and so attentive. There were even kayaks to use and it was possible to kayak directly to our room as there was a landing stage to the rear.
Of course, we had the inevitable German placing his towels on the sun beds and leaving it vacant for hours. We sat in them one day and you should have seen their faces! Gott in Himmel!

Transferred to this hotel yesterday, which is very typically Thai and rustic. Surrounded by lush vegetation and directly opposite a mountain. Took a long tailed boat to RaiLay Bay today. Pure white sand and awesome views of the mountains and jungle behind. Stunning location!!!

Had a haircut on the beach for £2 followed by a Long Island Iced Tea for £2 and a full Thai massage for £7. Under a tenner for the lot! Paul knows how to live
