Trip to LA and Disneyland
We left Williams on Friday morning after an American Breakfast at a local restaurant. We are heading to LA but we are making a stop at Hoover Dam. What a grand place to see. The mountains, the dam, the rock formations, the construction of the dam is magnificent. You can see why people want to spend time there. The new bridge that is being built is so magnificent.
We then headed in LA to get to our hotel in the avo Costa Mesa Marriott Hotel. Lovely place to stay. Bumped into Aussies here as Qantas staff stay here.

We then headed for dinner at the Disneyworld which is nextdoor to Disneyland. We looked at the shops and did some shopping there so that we did not have to lug bags around with us the next day. We then had dinner at a great restaurant. Talitha had a huge plate of ribs....

Saturday morning we headed for Disneyland and spent from 9am to 5pm at the Theme Park. We went on Splash Mountain, got wet from this ride and I screamed so much... but a great ride. Then we went on Pirates of Caribbean great ride and spectacular scenery, we went on the winnie pooh ride - very quiet ride. We went on Star Wars Tour which was inside a simulator but very real. Enjoyed this ride. We went on the Jungle Cruise. We went on Indianna Jones, screamed again.... this was my favourite ride. We went to the haunted mansion.... a few other rides that I cant remember. All I know is my throat is sore tonight from either laughing or screaming. We are exhausted tonight. We walked so far around Disneyland so legs and feet are very sore. Headed for home and got a starbucks coffee so we could sit back and relax tonight.

Cant believe we fly out of America tomorrow and head for New Zealand. it truly has been a fantastic trip. We have so enjoyed our time with family and appreciate them taking so much time out for us and giving us a trip that we will remember for ever. Pete said he is over Disneyland.... but I could come back again..... but learnt one thing.... take someone with a wheelchair or scooter and you get through the lines quickly....
