We left Phoenix Arizona with Peter on Wednesday morning 22nd July and headed to Sedona which is a fantastic tourist place. The Rock formations are glorious and something not to be missed if you are staying in Arizona. We had morning tea overlooking the rock formations. We then headed to Flagstaff for lunch and ate at a restaurant called Little Olive. It is a nifty restaurant. Once we had finished the meal it was so funny, Peter saw and exit sign and thought we could go out that way. instead it was alarmed and he set off the alarm. We had to walk through the restaurant everyone looking at these AUssies laughing. We still keep stirring him about that.
We then headed back on the rock again to Williams where we booked into our hotel. We decided to go to the Grand Canyon that afternoon instead of getting up so early in the morning. So we headed there for the afternoon. Grand Canyon is definitely grand and awesome to see. We hiked for only a little way because it was very hot. But the lookout points were great. We headed inside the souvenier place where we headed for the restrooms. Oh by the way you call the it restrooms or bathrooms not loos or dunnies.... As we were lining up in the queue this lady in front of me decided it was time to faint and luckily I saw she was falling and was able to catch her. It was quite a scene outside of the bathroom. Meanwhile I had to hold onto her on the floor waiting for help and busting to go to the loo.... oh I mean bathroom.
We then headed back to Williams for dinner. And found this fantastic place to eat. We sat outside in a courtyard and was entertained by a country singer but he was very good. Set a good atmosphere. Food was great too. Back to hotel for a good night sleep.
