Since we returned from South Africa in March the last few months have consisted of Pam working hard to pay for our next trip and me planning and organising it, I get all the fun ;-)

A lot has been achieved. We have bought a Land Rover, fully equipped it and ourselves, packed it up, sorted out stacks of paperwork, and shipped it to South Africa.

Our original plans of driving from London to Cape Town had to be shelved because of all the instability in North Africa and the Middle East so instead we have planned a massive loop round Southern and Eastern Africa taking in a long list of countries over about 8 months.

By the time this gets published we will be in Cape Town waiting for our Landy to clear customs before we can hit the road.

The frequency of the blog update will hopefully get back to a once in two week cycle after this extended break!
