A great few days with Sarah & Brian eating, drinking & playing the guitar!

The sun shone for long enough for me to work for our keep by cutting the grass and that was rewarded with some fab meals including curried corn on the cob which we'll be taking to India in the New Year!

We got a bit over excited at the local pub quiz with Sarah, Het & Jill where with one round to go had a crack at the title and a free round of drinks, unfortunately our bogey subject of Art and Literature knocked us back to equal 4th place, never mind, the half time sarnies were good and we did win a handful of sweets :-)

We were reminded of how fantastic it is not to be working with a lovely walk along the canal and Avon river on a Tuesday lunch time :-)

On the way back home we stopped off at Jacqui & Bob's for a top quality bbq & a sound thrashing at Articulate - must work on that general knowledge over the next couple of years then we'll be back for a rematch.
