Hi folks
We had a good ride to 80ml beach with campsite right on beach. Lots of lovely walks along the beach with beautiful shells to collect but no swimming due to crocs! Main pastime of all campers seems to be fishing and they were all pulling in huge catches. A 20lb fish was caught that day. Our next door neighbour gave us lots of fish to cook and we had cooked and eaten it after 1hr from coming out of the sea. You can't have fresher than that !! Stayed 2 nights and went to the sunday market, where campers sell all their wares, before leaving for Tom Price iron ore mine and Karijini NP, via Port Hedland. Had a roadside stop and then a fantastic walk around Dales gorge, Fortescue falls and fern pool but those pesky flies were back, mossie nets and hats to the rescue!!
Next day ,we did the amazing tour of Tom Price mine, with life size tonka trucks, with wheels larger than our coach! Another roadside stop on the way to Exmouth on the west coast. Hoping to snorkel on the barrier reef tomorrow, weather warm but very windy.
Love to all , over and out until the next ....................
