Michael & Katrina's travels
Day 3
Today was spent driving around Mornington, doing some shopping, stopping at a winery and checking out the scenery.
Mornington Peninsula is SE of Melbourne and separated by a narrow body of water, called the Rip, which is the entrance to the harbour at Melbourne. The southern part of the peninsula is dotted with ocean beaches, one of which made famous by the ex Australian prime minister, Harold Holt, who went for a swim and never came back.
Overnight: Sorrento Foreshore Reserve
Distance: 90km
Repairs: Replaced fuse for cigarette lighter in car. Pretty important to us as this runs the fridge, charges phones, etc.
