Day 4

Coober Pedy to Yulara (Ayres Rock / Uluru to you non-Aboriginals).

Lots of red sand, road kill and carrion birds. Then lo and behold, 3 big ROCKS...Mt Conner, Uluru and The Olga's.

Impressive how the spring out of nowhere, as are the vibrant green bits amoungst the harsh reds (enough of the poetry already).

Running wild at 140kph...and hardly any corners. Everything seems bigger here (as you'll see..especially the wildlife).

Sunset at Uluru was ...well a sunset! Up close to the Rock was quite impressive. Slowly, very slowly, disintegrating. Resort is a bit rundown, but they don't care when it's the only place to stay.
