Yesterday we had a lovely day. We started off at The Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex which was an interesting space museum! We then headed to Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve where we had a lovely picnic, thanks to Sheila. We saw loads of kangaroo's including a 'big red'! We went for a walk round the Eucalypt Forest and saw a wild koala, we got really close to it. Rachael also spotted a rock wallaby!
We then went to Lanyon Estate, the house was dark, chilly and abit creepy! We walked round another area that had information about the convicts - this was interesting although upsetting. Can't believe the punishments some of them went through! We had another lovely dinner and more wine whilst watching Dancing on Ice, fabulous!
Today we went to Eloise's baptism, she is Brett's latest addition (Kylie's 3rd cousin - or something like that!). We went to the sausage sizzle afterwards, we had a lovely glass of cold champagne on the hottest day so far!
We then headed to Cockington Green Gardens, this is miniature displays of buildings from around the world. We took a train ride round all squashed into one carriage! Went back to Auntie Brenda's for tea and cake, it was lovely!

Mum, Dad and Paul. Hi girls. Sounds as if Sheila, Tony and the family did you both proud. Glad you enjoyed it. Some of those names sound familiar from our trip to Canberra 12 years ago. Enjoy Sydney. Take care.
