Today it rained. And rained. And rained. We got wet! But we are on holiday so can't let a bit (lot) of rain stop us. We walked from our accommodation into the city. Took about 10 minutes. We found the local travel information centre and got some info on what to do. All good plans but the rain put a dampener on things. We walked up to the Royal Palace where we stood in the pouring rain to watch a very uninspiring changing of the guard. Poor guards had to stand on the rain and aren't allowed to move at all. We walked back to the city and took some photos on the way before finding somewhere dry and warm that sold good. We settled on a pizza restaurant which was very good and warm so we dried out. The weather forecast was looking better for about 2pm so we ventured back out to find the skies had cleared a bit and the sun was doing its best to shine. We headed to the Sculpture Park where there are many nude statues. It was worth the walk. Then we walked down to the Harbour to get back into the city. We checked out storage options for our suitcases for tomorrow as our flight leaves late afternoon, did a bit of shopping for dinner and walked home. It took a while to get our bags packed ready for tomorrow but I was glad to get the job done. Tomorrow we fly to Copenhagen.
