Today is our last full day in Cambodia. We spent the morning by the pool relaxing. In the afternoon we went to the old market and bought a few small items. I was at a booth negotiating on a silk scarf. The vendor is very nice, not pushy at all. Eventually We are $1 apart on the price and she offers to split the difference. I agree and off she goes to make change. When she comes back, I decide to give her her price instead of splitting it. She started to shriek and then skip, saying she is so happy. It was cute and unexpected. Fifty cents can make a big difference in somebody's life.
We went from the market to the spa. I decided that I would have a massage that includes application of hot healing herbs. They recommended 90 minutes if I chose that option, so we both had the 1 1/2 hr. massage. Super good!
From there we walked to a restaurant recommended by the hotel but decided there wasn't anything on there small menu that we wanted, so dinner was in our hotel. It was very good.
