Two days out of Seattle and we're giving ourselves a treat at the Holiday Inn Express in Lodi, CA. Got a King Executive Suite for same price as standard. I started freaking out a bit when it sunk in that it was May 13th! Yikes! We've been dwadling a bit too much I think. I know, no hurry. But we can't stay gone forever and there is so much else we want to see. So far the only thing I feel we've sacrificed that I really wanted to see was Vancuver and more of British Columbia. But we put that aside knowing that we plan on going back that way again on another trip. Perhaps in conjunction with an Alaskan Cruise? But we have Yosemite, Tahoe and Reno, Yellowstone, Dinosaur National Park, and of course, Iowa. I think we just got a bit pooped for a bit here. I developed a temporary OCD about public restrooms. Ugh, it gets hard to deal with after a bit. People can be so gross. It does make the RV thing seem appealing when you look at that angle for sure! Oh well, national park coming up so no electric and probably no signal. I got 10 hikes I want to cover in 2 days in Yosemite. None of them are very long so hopefully we'll get most in. I surrendered the Half Dome idea when I found out it took 14 hours and was extremely challenging.
