Never made it out of California yesterday. Lots of scenic route drives and stops for pictures and several wineries. Got to purchase several bottles at two different ones that we thought were great. We cut off 101 to take the "Avenue of the Giants" and saw some really big trees and a dense forest that was rather eerie. It did seem a little "other worldly"! We went through that drive thru tree which we couldn't drive thru because of the cartop carrier. We watched the sunset over Trinidad Bay and drove into Crescent City to spend the night in hotel 8. It's Oregon tomorrow for sure!
