Leigh Creek was a lovely and very clean caravan park. Can recommend!
Packed up camp by 8:30 and said our goodbyes to Pat, Martia, Aaron, Eric and Tess - it has been great camping with them over the past few days.
While we were driving we had a look at the map and made a quick decision to head to the ocean. And what a sight. From the red desert to the coast in a hour. We stopped at Port Germein for lunch. It claims to have the longest wooden jetty in Australia. Though considering the weather (cold, wet and windy) we didn't walk it to find out.
Kept driving to Renmark and a camp for the night. Got to Renmark and it was still a bit early to pull in and it was pretty busy anyway. So we kept heading and crossed into Victoria. We found a bush camp just across the border in the national park. We drove in about 800m and set up. Had dinner around the campfire (prob or last for the trip) trying to keep warm.
