Started very early 6:00am and were on the road by 6:40. Decided that if we can, we will aim for home today. We are a bit tired of the cold weather and are not looking forward to another damp, cold and windy night on the road.

We had a breaky stop in Mildura and then crossed the the border. Unfortunately we did not get a border sign picture as we forgot that the border is in the middle of the river and didn't have the camera out in time.

Anyway back in our own state we pretty much just drove all day. Lunch was on the river at Hay. It was a bit strange to be standing beside a large river and not be looking for crocodiles!

Anyway we made it home at 6:30 and got pizza delivered as we unpacked the basics. The rest can wait until tomorrow. 900km on the road - 12hours, we did pretty good and so did the kids. Home to a nice warm house, thanks Sarah for turning on the heater for us! And thanks Cassie, Owen, Allie, Grace and Sam for our long awaited reunion with Jet. We were all very happy to see her. Sunshine (bird) will have to wait until tomorrow and the chooks- ahh whenever :)
