Another day of dinosaur museums for the morning - at Kronosaurus Corner in Richmond. This one specialised in the marine reptiles from 100 million years ago. We packed up camp today and headed to the Age of Dinosaurs museum. It was a fantastic place. The museum is situated on top of a Jump-up (large rocky outcrop on the flat plains. The view was speculated and we could just make out the curvature of the Earth. The museum tour consisted of first going to the lab (shed) and looking at all the dinosaur fossils being cleaned up for display and then we went into a bit of their collections and got to see Matilda (sauropod) ...

Another big driving day!! Caitlyn and I (Joel) got up early and went for a walk along the Barcoo. Went up to the Qantas crash site and checked out the memorial. It is made out of a petrified tree and the plaque on the front tells of the crash in 1927. Left Tambo at about 8am. We had a massive day driving today. 730 km now sees us in Tambo. It was a little chilly in Bourke last night and woke up to a very foggy morning. We are still trying to get North as far as possible as quickly as possible. The day was pretty uneventful- except for the fact that we crossed the border and had the mandatory boarder crossing photo.
