Hi guys, Ive been reading loads of diaries in preperation for my own trip down the east coast. Thanks for sharing your experiences. It definately wets the appetite!

Hi Sarah and Bruce
Great photos and vids. GLad all is going well thus far. We had a great time at Bryan and Carol's wedding last weekend, partying with all the old Rhodians - Cath Roberts, Smilie, Derek, Pete, Arne, etc. Needless to say we all regressed to our late teens and then felt about 50 the next morning.
Looking forward to you guys getting to Durbs. Sarah, i finally did my theory exam, and passed it (thanks for the tips), but am still waiting for the prac exam. SO it will be a close race between me getting registered and you guys getting to SA. I will continue to try and organise contacts, etc this end pending your arrival.
Good luck for the rest of the trip - enjoy!
cheers

Hi Sarah and Bruce
Thank you for the blogs and pics and videos. It is amazing to go through this journey with you, and even more amazing that we can here your voices.
It is the 1st weekend in May, the 1st few days of Spring in the UK and the weather isn't too bad. How are you coping with the extremely high temperatures?
Ash and Nigel are the proud parents of a little baby girl. She was born on the 25th of April. No name yet but will keep you updated. Karen's last at work is next Friday? She id definately ready to have her baby. I don't think she can grow any more. She's due at the end of May, I predict she will pop in at least 2 weeks. So excited for her and she is definately glowing.
Look forward to hearing more from you guys. Take care and may God be with you always.
Love
Tamara

Hi Bruce and Sarah,
Have really enjoyed checking out all your amazing photos and also reading your blog about your experiences. My father was captured at Tobruk during the 2nd World War, so those pics were especially interesting.
Darroll, Jax and Conor have just left to return to home base, so feeling rather sad at the moment. However, Tweeds and Arls' wedding was awesome! It was great to hear your message from Egypt to them. You can check out some of their pics on www.kznweddings.co.za.
Hope that your travels through Sudan continue to be trouble-free and highly enjoyable. Will be keeping up to date with them.
Love,
Cyndy

Hi Guys...loving your work!! We are about a week behind you I think so hopefully catch up further south.
Hi Sarah & Bruce,
It is great to follow you! Takes me back to when I crossed the Sahara....(yes I did- near the west coast! We had to dig the truck out every hour or so.) Saw your Gran in February - she was in great shape but sick of the snow which is STILL there! She loves the updates your Dad is sending her. Stay safe and healthy - no need to tell you to have fun! Let me be the first to wish you a Happy Birthday, Sarah which may be around when you next check in. We are off to LA tomorrow and leading our busy working lives -- hmm, sounds like a contrast. Enjoy enjoy- Inshallah!
Love,
Nic & Ron
