Hey Guys - congrats on the wedding!!! Photos are great, just watched your video of driving off the ship....we just bought a pair of those green sand ladders....now I know they can take the weight!! ;-) Hope you are both well. Not sure what your plans are and where you will end up but good luck and safe travels. We are in Cape Town end of Feb 2009 if you fancy coming up to Langebaan. Take care. Nick & Vick

Hey you two; just been reading about South Lluangwe NP - this was also by far the most awesome game experience; kicks the ass of Masai Mara & Serengeti! Also spotted a leopard there and saw 3 2-week old lion cubs playing football with a 1-day old lion cub. Amazing. Incidently we almost saw our first lion kill at Addo a few weeks back, but our Landy was in the way and the warthog managed to hide under the car - before getting toasted anyway in a bush alongside the car. Great. Where are you now? Let us know; we would love to see you guys at some point.

Hey guys,
How many days left to go?? Looking forward to seeing you both in cape town for one big jump - up!! I'm packing my disco leg for one times big op skop!

Hi Bruce & Sarah, Here's wishing you all the best for your last few miles... We've been following your blog all the way :-) and have eagerly waited for each new chapter. We're heading off on pretty much the same route in just over 4 weeks time, and have taken so much inspiration from your blog - it's been a real pleasure following your route and taking heart from the fact that tho things can go wrong (and inevitably do at some stage!) it's balanced out by all the amazing things that go right. And it is so worth it in the end! I was hoping to ask your advice about Libya and how you organised to get your visa and book Fathi to be your guide. I've tried e-mailing him with no success. And the tour operators I'm finally getting quotes back from all want to charge over £1,500 for 12-15 days! I'd be most grateful for any advice you can share... Thanks! Happy travels :-) Drive safe, all the best Sarah & Mike

Behold the fisherman.
He riseth early in the morning and disturbeth the whole household.
Mighty are his preparations.
He goes forth full of hope and when his day is ended, he returneth smelling of strong drink and the truth is not with him.

Your photos are amazing!!! Malawi looks great. We'll certainly have to see it for ourselves one day - you have really inspired us.
Wonder if this will be our last coms before the Constantia campsite. Am getting nervous 'cos it is only average, not superbeautiful! but its home.
Enjoy your last precious weeks of your awesome trek. Remember not to look left or right in Namibia - wait til we do it together!!
We are waiting for you with open arms!!
