Last few days in Nepal were spent buying Christmas presents and seeing family! Perfect combination!

Kathmandu has got to be the best place to do your Christmas shopping! Handmade stuff galore, and now our packs are as full as full can be. Looking forward to sending back a few of our personal things once we arrive in India again.

After a few messages with my uncle Peter, aunty Carolyn and Lizi, we finally met up in the middle of Kathmandu for a drink. Before we knew it we were heading on a bus with them up a jiggly road to see the hospital that peter works at in a gorgeous little area outside Kathmandu.

A short but sweet 24 hours spent catching up with cousins, doing the washing, sewing on travel badges, walking around the area and playing games and we headed back to the city life to leave the workers to work.

Passport finally extended we could finally guarantee to be home for Christmas! :-)

Nepal is definitely one of our top countries yet! Peaceful, beautiful and we will be back one day, I hope!
