After a couple of nights on the mainland in Fiji we caught our flight to Auckland, was a bit of a shock landing to 12 degrees and rain but we wanted to make the most of the opportunity to be here as we could have quite easily stayed in Fiji!

We've spent 4 days in Auckland, just chilling out and planning our time here as there was so much we wanted to do and we couldn't afford or have the time for it all. We decided to stick to the North Island for this trip.

Auckland in it's self is nice and feels very much like home right down to Coronation Street being on the tv but we spent time down at the marina looking at the nice boats and looking in the shops on the main drag! I've decided I want to do the jump for the Sky Tower even with my fear of heights we'll see if we can fit it in!
