Not much movement from me today! Mostly catching up on some sleep, tidying the apartment, doing some washing. In the evening, went to Chinatown for some food and then packed my bag as I was leaving for Cairns in the morning. Michelle, Richard and Jonathan are heading back to Perth.. then I'm on my own!

NEW YEARS EVE We walked from the apartment to Darlinghurst, had breakfast, well brunch at this stage, then walked to Kings Cross and down to Hyde Park for a bit of sightseeing. It was a lot of walking... We were making our way to the Opera House but the streets nearby were blocked off with "ticket only" for New Years Eve celebrations. So we decided to head back to the apartment to get ready for our New Year celebrations! Headed to the wharf in Darling Harbour...

Left Alice Springs this morning to fly to Sydney via Melbourne. Spent most of the day travelling, we didn't get to Sydney till 7pm, there was an additional one and a half hour time difference as well. Met up with Michelle and Richard at the apartments and went looking for somewhere to eat, it was pretty late.. bout 10pm. Found a lovely Chinese in Chinatown, which is only around the corner in Haymarket. Afterwards, we decided to take a stroll down to Darling Ha...
