This tour is jam packed!
I'm currently on a coach from the airport to Hangzhou city after a very early morning flight. Wake up call at 5am after getting drunk with the boys wasn't very fun. A round of 6 beers cost £7 though, how could you not?!
It was only 30p in the shop next to our hotel which is amazing.
We had a massive banquet last night too which only cost us £3 each.
This place is crazy cheap :o)
Anyhoo so yesterday we went to see the Terracotta warriors which was really good. There's so many of them. Such a shame they were destroyed. All that effort!
Me and Lisa decided to pay to have our photo taken riding a chariot too. Once of course we figured out how to get up to it.
We also had a massive lunch at a farmers house who had huge posters on his walls of people he'd fed.
Pretty sure it was like Hansel and Gretal. Those warriors were just past visitors, caked in clay hehe
Oooh I missed the bit about the 12 hour sleeper train. It would have been so much better had the beds had actual mattresses on! I got very little kip and was so very sore and grumpy when we got to Xi'an.
It was pretty funny though. 3 storey bunk beds, lots of beer, excited beat boxing 15yr olds and Mike confessing his love for Sylvia the blatant tranny on one of my minger Top Trumps cards. Post op though Ny, post op!
Maybe I should have re-ordered this so it made sense? Ho hum
Beijing to Xi'an via 12 hour train. 2 hours to get showered and ready then straight on to see the warriors. Then dinner, drinking, early wake up call. Are you with me?
Back to the coach.
The suspension is ridiculous and I'm gonna end up bruised by the time it's over. I need a sports bra for this!
I think today there's a lake involved and maybe some bikes. There will most certainly be food. They haven't stopped fattening us up yet.
So much for losing weight in Asia...or not getting drunk
