Hello to all our friends, this is the beginning of us Not Being Grownups (for a whole year!) I am on long service leave and Viv has worked hard for this. You might well ask how are we doing this trip. It is a Round the World airline deal you could say, in fact, business class around the world on Qantas frequent flyer points - we have almost the whole trip booked - just trying for San Francisco to Cuzco (Peru) over the next couple of days. Vivienne books the tickets at 11 months and 15 days from the date we want to travel, getting on the phone with Qantas first thing in the morning and snaffling whatever is closest to when we want to go. We lucked in on the London to Vancouver leg - as there were no business class seats available on points, we had to go in first class (c'est la vie!) - how cool is that. All the best, James & Vivienne
PS to my fellow divers, We hope to do some cool fresh water diving in Lake Malawi, Africa. Now is that is a "been there" or what... And a couple of weeks after that we'll be diving in the north of Zanzibar... the spice islands, here we come. It just keeps getting better!
