Day 364, 3 July 2013 - International Date Line. Somewhere over Samoa. Roughly. 40,000 feet closer to the stars than we usually are. Clear night sky, like the diamonds inside a black velvet bag. This is the day that never was. The time we gained when we flew to South Africa one year ago just magically disappeared and the 2nd of July became the 4th of July. The beauty of 14 odd hours is the opportunity to really have a sleep (and even a sleep in) prior to waking up for breakfast in Auckland tomorrow... today?
