Day 1, 5 July 2012, Leaving Home - This is it! Awake at 6 am (had meant to be 6.30 am - but times are tough in Sydney Taxi-land and our over-achieving driver phoned at 6 just to ensure we wanted to be picked up at 7. Dead to the world, couldn't see phone - very loud taxi driver - Must not impinge upon start of grand adventure... breathe in, breathe out. Sydney Airport here we come!
