Rich & Alli's Travels
What's that, Beaver? Yes, today we stayed in a town called Beaver. The town slogan was "Beaver, Mountains of fun". No comment, though I thought being the Mormon State people would be a bit more prim and proper.
Before we ascended Beaver, we drove about 300 miles to Arches National Park and back. Arches is basically a National Park with hundreds of arches made from stone, which were created through erosion and natural events, etc. I think after the National Parks we have seen so far we have been a bit spoilt, so only the best will do, and Arches is not the best. After some hikes in scorching heat we left a bit disappointed and drove back towards Bryce Canyon NP and Zion NP. These will be our last, but not before a night in Beaver!
