Hello!

It has been so hot for the last few days, it reached 41 degrees yesterday which was unbearable! It is like sombody had a hairdryer in your face all the time! We have made friends with an English girl in our hostel who is only 18 and travelling on her own. She is so mature for her age, it makes me feel like a little girl (but thats just because I'm so immature for my age!)

We went to watch a few qualifier games for the Australian open the other day which was good to see. It all starts on Monday so its probably best that I'm leaving for NZ tomorrow because Melbourne is going to be really busy.

We went out last night with Jo (English girl) and a few other people. I was drunk really easily because I haven't had anything in ages. I was so ready to dance it was stupid! We got a tram to St Kilda and went to some nice bars around there and then went to a club. We had to leave at 1 to get the last tram home though which I was very disappointed with!
I was ready to party when we got back to the hostel but Keon and Jo were just trying to ignore me. When we got back it was all closed up so we just had to go to bed. We are staying on the 5th florr and the lift is broken so I found it really funny to run ahead of them and turn the lights off and then I hid in a cupboard and giggled to myself! I missed them walking past though so it didn;t really have the desired effect, haha!

We went to this amazing chocolate shop today. The whole menu is just chocolate so you can order a chocolate pizza! Me and Jo shared a chocolate fondue which had strawberries and marshmallows with it. It was sooo good!

Tonight me and Keon splashed out on the first proper meal w have had in Australia. We went to a really nice Italian and afterwards we went to the Crown casino which is huge. We decided to bet $20 each on the roulette table. Keon lost all his money straight away but I was doing really well for ages and managed to get about $50 but then I had an unlucky streak and lost it all. Even the dealer wanted me to win and she'd look really disappointed if I'd picked the wrong colour. It was good fun though so I don't mind that I lost but I could easily have changed up a lot more money because I was sure I had a big win coming if I kept on putting it all on red!

We need to be out of the hostel by 10am tomorrow and I won't get the bus to the airport until 4pm so I think we are just going to have a wander around Melbourne for the last time and take some pictures. I can't wait to get to New Zealand, I'm really excited!

P.s. I booked my ticket to Fiji yesterday! I'm going on 24th February until 4th March. Its going to be amazing and I'm staying at a really nice resort where they filmed celebrity love island! They do horse riding on the beach and fun classes like making jewellery out of coconuts so that will be interesting!!
