Hey!

Just had an amazing day on my Neighbours tour! It was so much fun! Keon wouldn't come with me so I thought I would have to be all excited on my own but everyone on the tour was very overexcited! We even got picked up in a neighbours tour bus so it was pretty embarassing. As soon as we all got on they put on some jason donovan music and then the very first episodes of neighbours.

First of all we drove to edinsburgh high which is actually an english school and our tour guide had the sign from neighbours to put on the fence so we could all have our photos. Then we drove past the studios where they film all the episodes.

After that we went to ramsey street which is actually a real road where people live but theres a security guard walking around 24 hours a day to make sure nobody goes on the properties. It was so weird to see the houses because they look exactly like they do on the tv but the close looks much smaller. Our guide had a ramsey street sign so we all got loads of pictures outside the houses.

The people who live there must get paid tons of money because they let the tour come to the close 3 times everyday and then random people are always just walking around.Then when they are filming they have to move all their cars to the next street and they can't go in and out of their houses plus they aren't allowed to change anything about their houses without asking permission!

When we had all taken about a million pics we drove to meet our 'star' who turned out to be Genelle (Stringray's mum). Everyone was hoping for Carl or Susan but she was really nice and we all got photos and autographs like the geeks that we are!

I'm sure Keon was a little bit jealous when he saw my pics because he has decided to come on the neighbours quiz with me tomorrow night which has Karl's band playing. The tickets are all sold out though so we have to go down there and hope to get a ticket at the door.

It free popcorn cinema night at the hostel tonight so that's all we have planned to save some money. They have a great deal here where you get a tiny portion of dinner for free or you can upgrade to a proper protion for 2pound. Last nights dinner was lovely so we are hoping for good stuff again so we don't have to cook.
