Today we left Korovou island. The staff were so lovely at that island, they all hugged us as we left!
It was onwards to Coralview Island, I was a little worried as we has heard mixed reviews but when I saw the staff singing and playing guitar for us as we arrived I was happy! This island is like a mini resort, it is really cute! Two Girls which we met on the previous island, Emily and Jenny are here So that is lovely and a girl, Emily who we met in America. Fliss and I are in a 10 bed dorm and there is only 4 of us in there which is lovely! They greeted us with juice and lunch! That afternoon we had a Fijian massage which was certainly more relaxing than the sports massages that I'm used to! That evening Fliss and I walked to the other beach which is just 5 minutes away, as we got closer we saw lots of crab holes so we felt like it was a mine field so we ran the last section in fear of getting attacked by crabs!
After dinner the staff performed some dancing and singing and taught us another dance which was great fun! We noticed that one member of staff could shake her hips and booty like no one else so we asked her to teach us! This was great fun although she kept laughing probably at our poor attempts to shake a booty like a black lady!

Today we went to visit some caves which we were able to swim in! This was lots of fun but the boat ride on the way back was more impressive as we got to see wild dolphins! They just started playing around our boat! There must have been 10 of them! They kept playing on one side of the boat, going underneath and then playing on the otherside! One of the dolphins flew out of the water and performed a fancy flip! It was beautiful to see, I felt super lucky!
When we got back we said goodbye to Jenny and Emily! The staff had two more people arriving so asked us to join in for the welcome song! So we sang and danced on the beach whilst two people arrived! The staff hugged and hi-five'd us after! They are all so friendly!
That afternoon I went for a walk up the hill, I stupidly wore flip flops, I hadn't realised how steep it was going to be! It was nice to do some exercise after many hours sunbathing! On the way back down I fell straight onto my bum with a whack and proceeded to skid a few metres down still on my bum, as well as getting cramp in my foot!! It wasn't pleasant but I had to laugh at myself!
This evening after dinner the staff told us that a turtle had laid eggs on the beach and that we were able to go and see it to take pictures! I was really excited, thinking that I was really lucky to see dolphins and turtles in the same day! Everyone went off to get their cameras and we set off in search of the turtle. We were all around the turtle taking pictures in silence. Our guide, Niko then touched the turtle, I was wondering what on earth he was doing as he had warned everyone not to disturb the turtle....the turtle then lept up for us all to see that it was a member of staff under the turtle shell!! Of course the staff all had a big laugh at us whilst we tried to get out heart rates back to normal! This evening the island was really quiet so we sat around with all the staff chatting which was really lovely! I can't get over how friendly all the Fijians are, it's be such a nice break from reality!
