We stopped at Tumby Bay, Cowell (the locals were really friendly here) and Whyalla heading north. We did plan on fishing, as the area has a really good reputation for it, but it is too windy to enjoy. We also wanted to snorkel to see giant cuttle fish and leafy seadrogons but the water is too cold without a wetsuit and mild weather. We drove to camp about 30min north of Whyalla at Fitzgerald Bay. It was really windy here but a nice spot to look at.

We drove through Lincoln National Park today and it was very quiet with only a few people camping. It was not as exciting as I expected. The weather didn't help though as I'm sure in sunshine the beaches would look much nicer. The stand out camp we thought was Ric*******'s Shack if we were going to stay. We did see dolphins and quite a few emus and kangaroos making the drive a little more exciting. Wanna Lookout was the highlight of the park.

In Port Lincoln we are camping on someone's property for a really cheap price so we are spending elsewhere on eating out. We had lunch out at the Marina Hotel which was delicious. We then went to the jetty for some fishing and caught a squid. Zach is becoming an expert at casting now. We chilled out in the park for a while the kids burned some energy and then headed back to camp.

Back to having a late start to the day with the sun rising late. We had a look around Streaky Bay and I thought this place was great. It's a shame because I did plan on staying here but chose to stay at Ceduna to do the couple of tours that didn’t end up existing anymore. The bay was really beautiful and the town itself was also nice. We dropped into the Shell Service station where we saw the replica world’s biggest shark caught on a fishing lin...

Today I had planned to go to an animal rescue homestead and do a tour at the Bureau of Meteorology when they release the weather balloon. Neither of these happened as they don't exist anymore. So instead it was mainly another day of errands. We fished off the jetty for a short time getting some bites and some crabs. It was fairly windy though so we decided to go for a drive and look around town instead which didn’t take long.
