Howdy everyone...me and ninny are in Koh Samui at the moment and its scorching hot so we have been doing lots of lazing around on the beach and chilling our beans which has been really nice! (how long was that sentance!!) We had a bit of a scare on the way over here though! We had been out the night before in Bangkok and only managed to get about 3 hours sleep before making our way to the airport....we got really cheap flights however had to pay extra baggage because our bags were so heavy - this came to nearly the same amount as the flight...oops! Anyway, after the flight we had to get a bus to the ferry port and the driver was like yeah just leave your bags on the bus because the bus goes over on the ferry. So we got off the bus and we were told that the ferry left at 2 so off we went to sit down...about half an hour later we looked around and we couldn't see anyone else off our bus so we went to have a look around and eventually realised that we had missed our ferry which already had our bags on!!! How dozy are we! Luckily when we told the lady what had happened she rang up the office in Koh Samui and they tracked our bags down for us! Don't know what we would have done if we had lost all our luggage!! It was really wierd the other night because we went out and managed to meet a guy from Tarlton, a bunch of guys from the Wirral(one of them was the spitting image of Anthony Costa from Blue!) and two guys from Manchester! It was a very bizairre night and reminded us of home!! We also went for a really nice roast dinner the other day with yorkshire puddings, stuffing, roast potatoes and everything!! Its wierd the things you miss! We also miss english tea (well ninny does - hate tea it tastes like feet!), proper diet coke, carpet, duvets, normal TV instead of the discovery channel, mint munchies, our own beds, normal english chocolate, indian food (thats another wierd one from Ninny), Simons!!! (all you chinese lovers you know what i mean especially Vic & Ali!!), having all your shower products in the shower when you go for a shower, our houses, BBQs at ninnys in the summer & ninnys hammock, a nice comfy couch, dads sausage & mash, nice milk, tuna & salad cream, the phone ringing, driving.... Still having a really good time though despite the luxaries we have had to give up! :-) We heard a doorbell ring the other day and it was really strange! Havn't heard one of those for a while! Theres also things we don't miss though like working & having to be somewhere on time - its gonna kill us when we have to start work! We've heard from Katie also and she seems to be having a really nice time in Melbourne so far. She's managed to find herself a job in a sandwhich shop right next door to the hostel where she is staying so thats good.... Greggs travelled back up the coast to Brisbane which he said is really hot (lucky for you Ali & Emma the weathers getting better!). He's managed to blag himself a job on the Hayman Island in the Whitsundays which is absloutely stunning and where all the posh people go! Its going to be gorgeous weather too - jammy get!
