Today was a day of misunderstanding between the different people within our group. It was really obvious that we needed more than 2 cell phones to get everyone where they needed to be. I got to run again in this beautiful country, although it was cold, windy and raining. I was able to squeak in 3 miles before it got to be too much. Ireland is a very beautiful country, but after awhile there is only so much hills and sheep you can see. Today we drove to Dingle for some sightseeing. This involved some more of those fun little country roads! The people around here drive like nuts on those little small roads that can barely fit two lanes of traffic. Then you have to deal with the tour buses driving down the center for the road because they can't fit. Very scary at times. Along the way...

I woke up this morning to a beautiful Irish day. I really enjoyed the 10 hours of sleep that I had!! The weather outside was a bit rainy, but it doesn't seem to last long. I took a 3.5 mile run up towards the Gap of Dunloe but I didn't make it all the way. I saw lots of sheep and some ruins along the way. It is very different than the routes I am used to running. After cleaning up and some breakfast, we started out on our first day of exploring Ireland. ...

We arrived at Shannon Airport at 7:40 AM Ireland time (5 hours ahead of Tampa time). The 767 we flew on had a tracking screen when the movie wasn't playing, so it was neat to see where the plane was and how much longer we had until we landed. We rented a total of 4 cars for all 16 of us to drive around in (on the left side of the road). Today, I traveled to Ireland. It was a long trip and I wasn't able to sleep much on the plane. I met up with my family in Atlanta, so it was nice having someone to talk to one the longest part of the trip. We watched Eight Below while on the plane.
