Got woken up by a major storm, with torrential rain and lightning at 6:30. But I decided it was far too early for me to be up so went back to sleep, got up at 7:30, storm all gone, and the rain had actually done a good job of clearing away some of the smog :-)
Got a lift over to Tekek and started the AOW, the others of course hasn't done the theory, so we had to wait while they did that, but not too long and we headed out for the peak performance buoyancy dive.
Good fun, more practice of buoyancy, upside down hover and stuff like that. Also worked on my bubble rings, getting much better now. Also finding it easier an easier to equalise, definitely settling into diving. Came back in had some lunch then off for the navigation dive, using compasses and visual references to navigate, had touched upon it in the open water, but always good to get more practice.
Back in and had another banoffie pie with Harry. Then tried to find more second skin plasters, but nowhere in Tekek has them anymore, i think the pack I bought the other day was the only pack on all of tioman!!
Back to tdc and waiting for a bit before the night dive. Another very cool night dive, off a boat as well, so descending was real fun! Finally saw a shark, nice bamboo cat shark hunting in the reef, also a small moray and a flatfish.
Finished up the dive and got dropped off back at Tekek, went out for a meal with Harry, Romina and Justine, then me Harry and Romina headed back to panuba in Harry's boat. Luckily it was very flat calm so no worries getting back, saw lots of jumping fish along the way.
Got back and headed up to bed, as we have an early start and lots of diving tomorrow.
