Got up at 7:30 again, it's nice because it gives me an hour and a half to wake up and have breakfast before we start diving. High tide was at 10:30, so just finished off the theory and tests, managed 100% in the lot which was quite nice! (And Harry now owes me a banoffie pie). So all theory for the open water done now, just diving to go :-).
Finished off the shallow skills in 3-6m of water, stuff like: swimming without mask on, practicing emergency ascents, out of air drills etc... Finished up nice an quick as it was just me and Harry (I.e. no other group member to have to do the skills), so went for a bit of a swim till I got to 70 bar of air (when you have to rise) saw a stingray which is something I really wanted to see.
Went in for some lunch, and a bit of a rest, then headed out for dive 2 at 1ish, not as good visibility as dive 1, but was way better for me as I'm now very comfortable when diving. Harry took his camera and we got some good shots, and a few good videos. Saw some cuttlefish, crazy pattern changes on their skin, was very cool.
After coming back in, showering and drying off, me and Harry headed over to Tekek in his boat for a shopping trip. Used the dive centre's moped and 'sidecar' (weird little box thing with a wheel attached to the side) to go to the shops and grab some stuff. Then chilled and had a banoffie pie, chatted with the freedivers in the restaurant then got our stuff and headed back to panuba. Chilled till dinner time (diving takes a lot out of you, none of us were very active!!).
Headed out on Harry's little boat to the dinner place (he did 2 trips as opposed to taking all 4 of us at once). Had nice dinner then headed to a bar for one beer, not drinking too much as we have to be up early and diving tomorrow. After this, went back and bed :-)
