Got up at 7:30, Harry up and working again of course! Had some breakfast and covered my foot as well as possible. Started diving course at 9. Started with 2 set ups (putting kit together and taking apart). Then off for shallow water skills. Started off the beach in waist deep water, quite rough, but not too bad. Really strange experience sinking below the water and still breathing, had to concentrate hard on relaxing and breathing at first in order not to freak...

Woke up at 7:30 to start getting used to the early wake-ups as we'll have to be doing when diving. Went down to the dive centre, Harry and Romina already there working away!! Harry showed me his boat and gave a refresher on using an outboard engine. Then he headed off to the other centre, I had some breakfast and chilled for a bit, then started watching the videos about dive theory, very long and quite dry, with lots of repetition. So arrived into the bus station at 4:30, bit earlier than expected, but means we can get the 6:30 ferry as opposed to the 9:00 one. Short walk through mersing to the ferry terminal, then the fun began... So waited for our counter to open so I could exchange my PayPal receipt print-out for tickets (most ridiculous online ticket system ever!). With tickets in hand I was happy and went to sit with sophie, then found out the ticketing system wasn't even nearly done!...

Well... Knew today wasn't going to be majorly interesting. Headed out at 11 to the hospital armed with my passport this time!! Go there and through to doctor, he said all was looking good, washer wound (only with water) and put on a stretchy waterproof plaster thing, this was cut from a big piece and they explained that I could do it from now on, wash and plaster every few days. This was perfect as I'm off to tioman soon, and I'm not too sure about its medical fa...

Slept in late again, didn't even try to get up earlier! Since there isn't much to do in KL, and we've still got 2 days (including today). Sophie is planning to go around the malls today, so I think I'm going to have a wander and maybe try to get myself to the botanical gardens.
