Now I know why I paid 200$ for my flight from Florida to Peru. Imagine a 6 hour flight with only your mp3 player and two sodukos as entertainment! I also made the unwise decision of not buying a meal before boarding. Not only does the airline not provide any complementry snacks or beverages, they do not have any meals (only chips or nuts). Thi is what made my flight so long. My neighbour seemed to find an effective way to pass the time: one scotch at a time...
As we landed, everyone clapped, which I found weird, but I guess every was happy that we did not crash.

Millie I love how american air companies have stream-lined their services and are so incredibly capitalistic. When I was once flying from London to Philly, the pilot began his intro speech by talking about the stock market, and asked us to buy shares in the airline company. And I totally agree with your neighbor. The best way to fly is with a few drinks. I like to be drunk before boarding so I sleep during the flight, and when I wake up we've arrived. Saves on anxiety and boredom.
