Hi, just a quick entry to put Singapore on the map after spending only 2 nights here. We're currently at the ultra modern airport making use of the free internet before our flight to Bali in an hour or so.

Spent our time in Singapore going to the zoo which was really good because they have open enclosures for most of the animals rather than cages so you get a really good view. Not a lot of exploring the city but we did go the Raffles Hotel for a mandatory Singapore Sling cocktail. Full of tourists but it is a really nice grand old hotel and the cocktails, although extortionately priced(!), were surprisingly nice. Also saw a fireworks display for the Chinese New Year celebrations and ate at a street stall in China Town so packed quite a lot into the day.

Next stop Bali.....!
