JELLY BEANS - hooray! Evidently my constant wittering about Jelly Beans has worked. I was sat at my desk this morning and not one but two bags of jelly beans were delivered to my desk. So that's it - the final thing I needed to get before Sunday..... Right then, bring it on - I'm ready to go!!

Nothing really to report today - I have still not done any proper packing, I have still not got all the jobs done that I need to do before I leave and I STILL HAVE NOT FOUND ANY JELLY BEANS. Where have all the Jelly Beans gone? Maybe there is a shop somewhere that only sells jelly beans? Maybe the Cycle Kenya ladies have created a world shortage? Either way I know that I cant find any...... On a non Jelly bean related subject, I am getting a bit nervous now......

I am pretty much ready to go now - apart from the eternal quest for jelly beans (no not the jelly belly variety, I just want the tradition ones). Anyone know when you can get NORMAL jelly babies??? One week from now the group of ladies that you see in the photo will be in Kenya getting fitted for our bikes and having a 5 km warm up ride to make sure everything is working OK. I woke up this morning after a poor nights sleep and it was raining. I also felt ill. This, you can probably imagine is not ideal preparation for a 70 mile sportive.....
