It's been a very long day, but the flight went quickly thanks to 22 Jump Street and Anchorman 2! A quick transfer to the hotel and a welcome drink and we are all set. Tomorrow starts with a 5.30 alarm call, which quite frankly I could do without although chances are the jet lag will have us awake in the middle of the nights! It's quite hot here..... Oh what a day..... Chaos at work, a poorly son and a kitchen flood courtesy of the dishwasher - the combined stress led to an out of charector moment of leaky eyes prior to leaving home. I have now got a grip and am about 30 miles from Gatwick, ready to meet up with some of the ladies I will be cycling across Cuba with and hoping that they haven't drunk the hotel bar dry! Well I've finally finished packing, but sadly my bag is too heavy!! So the spare set of cycling shoes will have to be left at home, which may mean wet feet, but more importantly means I now have to unpack the whole bag as they are at the very bottom...... Looks like that is a job for the morning at I am far too tired to do it now! Did find time this evening for a 5 mile run with Ali and had my nails done, so I think I am finally ready - if the Gods of JLR could...
