Had a nice day at Lake Atitlan on Sunday. Arrived at Panajachel only to find the weather overcast and low misty cloud obscurring what are meant to be amazing views of 3 volcanoes around the lake. So that was a shame but still had a good day. I took a boat to a small village called San Marcos and had some lunch overlooking the lake which was nice. I then had a lovely relaxing shiatsu massage before returning to Panajachel. I had a look around the town, a drink overlooking the lake before returning to Antigua.

Still really enjoying Spanish school and am learning loads. My ´host mum´has said a few times how much better I´m getting. I still take the dictionary to the meal table 3 times a day though!

Done quite a few organised activities with other students visiting museums, salsa class, finding nice bars for sunset and other nice bars for cheap beer on ladies night!

Have just a couple of days left in Guatemala now. I travel to Honduras on Saturday where I´ll stay overnight at Copan and visit the ruins there. Sunday I´ll travel on to San Pedro Sula where I meet up with the people on my diving project. Monday we fly over to the small island of Utila off the Honduran coast which will be my home for the next 4 weeks.
