Day 1

Arrived at Phi Phi island from Phuket by ferry. As there are no cars on this island we then got a 'taxi boat' to long beach. We checked into some accomadation just off the beach - it was a bamboo hut - really basic but pretty cool. We had some breakfast in the resteraunt on the beach front and then chilled on the beach (which was almost empty). The sand was white and the water totally clear - paradise! After lazying around for the afternoon we decided to trek over to the main bit - had to go through the jungle! After food we wandered around and booked tomorrows boat trip. We didnt fancy walking back through the jungle in the dark so got a 'taxi boat'. Laying in bed that night we could hear the waves crashing on the shore very peaceful and relaxing (however there was some weird bird noises outside).

Day 2

Got up and treked around the rocks to the main pier where we met our group for todays boat trip. The boat visied alot of different islands - all of them as beautiful as each other. We snorkelled, kayaked and spent the day jumping off the top of the boat into the clear blue water. We were even lucky enough to see dolphin fins in the distant water. The boat visited Maya bay (where the film the beach was made) but this island was full of tourists (just like ourselves) so wasnt that special. We met some irish girls who we had a good laugh with on the boat. After arriving back to the pier at 5pm we did some more rock climbing back to our beach where we spent the evening chilling in the beach front resteraunt and catching up on our postcards and journals.

Day 3

In the morning we went for a run down the beach - this was harder than anticipated as the sand was really soft and on a slope. Hello legs!! After breakfast we decided to make the most of being in paradise and chilled on the beach and in the sea for the day. One of the best things about this beach was that harldy anyone else was here. After our relaxing day we walked to the main bit for some food and then decided were really sad and watched the film 'the beach' in a local bar. was good to see all the places we have visited. Later that evening we got a 'taxi boat' back to our bamboo hut for some sleep.

Currently sat in Krabi - deciding how to get to Kuala Lumpar (either bus or plane). Will update again soon. Bye for now ......... xxx
