Day 1

Spent most of the day traveling on the OZ experience bus from Cairns to Mission beach. The bus stopped at two tourist spots of Josephine falls and a crocodile farm. Josephine falls was gorgeous - massive waterfall in the middle of a rainforest. The crocodile farm on the other hand was a different story. Despite holding a snake and baby crocodile we hated it here - the guy was really cruel to the crocs and they were just being bred to be used as handbags. The only good bit was when one of the crocs grabbed his stick and he nearly fell into the water. Anway, arrived at Mission beach late afternoon and spent the rest of the day organsing our lives by booking tomorrows white water rafting trip and next weeks whitsundays and fraser island adventures.

Day 2

Got up nice and early to get the bus to Tully river to start our white water rafting adventure. Spent 5 hours crusing down the river (12kn) in total. Met some irish girls who we had previously met in Thailand so they were also on our raft which was good. We were both in the front of the boat - apparently the most dangerous place to be but u guys know us - we like to live on the edge!! Anyway, luckily we survived despite some peoples attempts to stop us going (Tina) due to the high death risk! haha. Also got to do some body surfing, jumping off a rock and going down a massive rapid which sucked you under for 10 seconds! We had a really good day and loved the whole experience. Tomorrow we are back on the OZ experience bus to travel down to Magnetic Island for a few days. Fun fun. Hope everyone is well. Feel free to write on our message board! Take care
